Thank you for your interest in Tallahassee Housing Authority's Housing Choice Voucher Program.  We maintain a waiting list for our housing program according to Federal housing laws. Our online application is an easy, step-by-step way to get your name entered in the lottery for our waiting list.

You must complete the entire application for the application to be valid. When you have completed and submitted the application, a receipt page with your Application Confirmation Number will let you know that your information has been saved for the lottery. Print the receipt page immediately, if possible, or otherwise record your Application Confirmation Number.

DO NOT complete and submit more than one application for the lottery. Multiple entries will be voided. All valid applications will be ranked randomly, by computer, by an independent third party. The first 3,000 applicants selected in the lottery (lottery ranks 1 – 3,000) will then be placed on our waiting list in the order of their lottery ranking.

Before you begin the application, you must have the names, dates of birth, and Social Security Numbers available for all household members.  You should also know the total amount of income and assets for your household.

Important: To move from one step of the application to another, you must use only the buttons at the bottom of the application. (The Begin button is below. Other steps have Next, Back, Confirm, and/or Submit buttons at the bottom that allow you to go forward and back within the application.) Using ANY OTHER option, including right-clicking with your mouse and selecting Back or Forward, will cause an error and may force you to begin a new application.
